The Bisnode Interact Continuity of Business Plan
Our service offering is submitted to a Continuity of Business Plan (COB plan).
The COB Plan for Bisnode Interact seeks to identify and weigh the potential impact of business interruption against key criteria; it also discusses relevant containment and recovery strategy for those interruptions whose impact is high against one or more of these criteria. This plan additionally details steps to be taken to ensure restoration of normal operations after the recovery.
Te Continuity of Business plan has three primary objectives:
- Prevention: Minimize the probability of business interruptions by integrating safeguards into business- as-usual operation;
- Containment: Minimize the impact of any business interruption through a focus on keeping the business running at the highest level of service possible;
- Recovery: Ensure a prompt restoration of normal operations following any incident that gives rise to business interruption.
Bisnode Interact’s global customer profile and integrated service approach has increased interdependency among all business areas, thus necessitating a business based approach to the critical process of Continuity of Business (COB) planning methodology. The COB plan takes into account, both national (in-centre and in-country) and international contingency situations. The International COB will be activated in case of a national calamity where all the centres of Bisnode Interact are affected.

The COB plan is based on:
- An awareness that the purpose of COB planning is to keep the business running, not just the technology;
- 2 An understanding that effective COB planning must be an integral part of daily business-as-usual operations;
- 3 A realization that COB plans must encompass the total business environment and address all business unit interdependencies to ensure a seamless coordinated response to any business interruption.
In general, priority for each critical business process would be defined. Within the projects critical components would be identified to ensure that not only the technology will keep running but also the business processes.
The COB Plan contains all necessary information related to disaster business impact analyses, containment strategy, recovery strategy, testing strategy and education and training strategy
